HOLIDAY OUTREACH PROGRAMS

Thanksgiving and Christmas Day Dinners:

In partnership with the Needham Rotary Club we co-host Thanksgiving Day dinner, free for any Needham resident who wishes to experience community and camaraderie with their fellow neighbors. Needham Rotary members, volunteers from the Community Council, local schools, businesses, caring families, other community organizations and houses of worship, make this wonderful event possible. For those unable to attend we have a wonderful "take-out" service delivered right to your door. If you wish to attend the dinner, need a ride, or to request home delivery, contact us at 781-444-2415 to make your reservations.

...and, in partnership with Project Ezra at Temple Beth Shalom we sponsor Christmas Day dinner.

Holiday Gifts:

The holidays are made brighter for more than 500 Needham residents each year through our Holiday Outreach Program. New clothing, toiletries, books, hats and gloves are distributed to elderly residents. Toys and gifts are also distributed to Needham families with children who are on a limited income or in a financial crisis. Donations of new toys are greatly appreciated.

Holiday Gift Bags:

Each Holiday season gifts bags are prepared and distributed to nursing home residents and home bound seniors for Chanukah or Christmas. Names are supplied to us for Needham seniors in local Nursing homes as well as those living alone without family or who need a little extra. The bags may contain the following items:
